Please congratulate the following students from Forbush High School on their accomplishments last week at the SkillsUSA State competition:
Aviation Technology - Kasey Gagnon - 4th place
John Buelin - 5th place
Savannah Shore - 6th place
Diesel Technology - Avery Buelin - 3rd place - $12,000 scholarship to UTI
$ 5,500 scholarship to NADC
$6000 scholarship to UNOH
Marine Service Technology - Brady Trivette - 1st place - $10,000 scholarship to UTI
$ 7,500 scholarship to NADC
Jackson Martin - 3rd place - $3,000 scholarship to UTI
$2,500 scholarship to NADC
Power Equipment Technology - Caleb Neff - 3rd place - $3,000 scholarship to UTI
$2,500 scholarship to NADC
Motorcycle Technology - Jaxon Phillips - 3rd place - $3,000 scholarship to UTI
$2,500 scholarship to NADC
My
numbers could be off on NADC but UTI is confirmed for the above numbers. Avery
pretty much has a full ride at this point stacking his scholarships from
previous years. Either way that is a lot of money for those kids to further
their education.
Also,
please congratulate Reese Phillips. There was a slew of competitors in her Job
Interview Competition. I want to say over 50. She made it to the final round of
nine. I do not have the scores back yet and they only pulled the top 5 up on
stage but she did well I thought. She fought hard to make it to the final round
of 9.
