Starmount Middle School hosted an Information Session for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders last Friday, December 6. Students learned about the many different post-secondary options available to them!
Carolina University,
Forsyth Technical Community College, Surry Community College, and
Davie-Davidson Community College were in attendance. Yadkin Early College staff
were also there to talk to students about high school options, while Lindsey Kennedy
(Career & College Advisory for Forbush HS and Starmount HS) shared specific
options for college credit and opportunities available to the students
when they reach high school.
Our SMS students were engaged, attentive, and polite while they learned about the numerous possibilities that await their future!
