The Yadkin County Cooperative Extension office hosted Environmental Field Days for 6th grade students from Forbush and Starmount Middle Schools on September 24 and 25 at the Yadkin YMCA. Students had a great time learning about a wide variety of topics, including taxidermy, forestry, composting, horticulture, insects, apples, recycling, and soil composition.
