On Saturday, five
students attended and competed at the Piedmont Triad HOSA Regional Leadership
Conference (RLC) at Mt. Airy High School. The students who attended were
Johnatan Argueta, Valyn Brown, Payton Howell, Mikaela Peak, and Nyah
Kapahulehua.
We had two events with top 10 placement. Payton Howell placed in the Nursing Assistant event and Mikaela Peak and Nyah Kapahulehua competed in the team event, Forensic Science. These students qualified to compete in their events at the state leadership conference (SLC) in the spring.
