FHS SkillsUSA Members Compete at Regionals

FHS students participated in SkillUSA Regionals at Wilkes Community College on Monday, February 28th.

Zach Hall - 1st place Power Equipment Technology

Reese Phillips- 1st place Prepared Speech

Wyatt Shoaf- 1st place Welding Sculpture

Avery Buelin- 1st place Marine Technology

Garrett Brackett- 1st place Collision Repair Technology (He won a bunch of tools too!)

Emmaleigh Dobbins- 2nd place Welding Sculpture

Ryan Shaffer- 3rd place Automotive Service Technology ($1000.00 scholarship to UTI) (Keep in mind this student qualified to be in Automotive Beginners based on the classes he had taken and I put him in the upper level competition instead)

Curan Wagoner- 3rd place Diesel Technology

John Buelin- 5th place Motorcycle Technology
