A community service project was conducted this past Wednesday by the FFA Officer team at Forbush High School. The officers decided for a community service project they would choose some elementary schools and conduct educational activities with elementary students using the Ag in the Classroom curriculum provided by NC Farm Bureau. They read the book "The Girl Who Thought in Pictures: The Story of Temple Grandin" to Ms. Tucker's 1st grade class at Courtney Elementary School and then conducted an activity with the students, breaking them into groups to help them "think in pictures".
