FHS Career Fair

High school students from across the district participated in the 2026 Career Fair, hosted by Forbush High School on April 21.

Students learned about job opportunities, two- and four-year educational programs, career plans, and armed services options.

Over 50 different businesses and organizations participated in this awesome event!

A special thank you to Mrs. Audrey Hayes, CTE Career Development Coordinator, for planning this event!

Ag Day

Second graders from our elementary schools visited Lone Hickory Arena on April 21 to take part in Agriculture Awareness Day, sponsored and coordinated by our local Cooperative Extension office!

Students had a great time learning about a wide variety of animals, including goats, donkeys, bees, cows, and horses!

West Yadkin Elementary School Holds Career Fair

Students at West Yadkin Elementary School had the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of careers and occupations during the WYES Career Fair, held Friday, April 10.

Forbush HOSA Attend State Leadership Conference

Forbush HOSA attended and competed in the 50^th HOSA State Leadership Conference this past week.  The Forbush chapter and several students received awards, and several have qualified to attend the HOSA International Leadership Conference this summer in Indianapolis in June.
