FHS alumni Emmy Matthews Corn, branch manager of First National Bank, visited CTE classes at FHS today. Mrs. Corn, an alumna of the FHS Marketing and DECA program, shared with classes about professional communication, application, and interview skills. Students in Lawanda Brown's Principles of Family and Human Services classes and Angie Funk's Marketing class took part in role playing interview skills.

nearing time to transplant to make room for more new plants.

SHS Agriculture Students Work on Campus
Students in Mr. Allen’s and Mr. Andrews’ Agriculture students at SHS worked on campus spreading mulch and tilling up long jump pits.
The students enjoy showing their school pride and gain valuable
job experience through these campus beautification projects.

FHS FFA Students Present to FES OOST
In celebration of FFA week, Forbush High FFA students
presented agricultural activities to YES Out of School Time. Students learned
about the FFA program, how to plant, flower physiology, pollination, seed
formation and competed in egg relays.

Students in Lawanda Brown's Principles of Family and Human Services classes build cup towers practicing non-verbal communication skills.
Students in this class also worked on verbal communication
skills. Each team must verbally direct their blindfolded teammate how to
assemble the children's puzzle.
