FHS Sport and Event Marketing Students Create Prototypes

Sport and Event Marketing students in Mrs. Funk’s class at Forbush High planned events, designed logos and made licensed "merch” this semester.

The students choose the types of merchandise that would reach the target markets for their events and then created prototypes of the merchandise during class.  Merchandise included t-shirts, mugs, tumblers, Christmas ornaments, stickers, car coasters, handled bags and zippered pouches.

The equipment and supplies for this activity was made possible in part by the Creative Classroom Grant from the Yadkin County Education Foundation, a fund of the Shallow Ford Foundation. The students had fun, and their merchandise turned out great!

A special thanks to the Shallowford Foundation for your support of our classroom!

Congratulations to these students on their accomplishment!
