Child Development Students Practice Skills

Students in Child Development class at SHS are learning about fine vs gross motor skills. I wanted the class to do an activity that would teach them a skill and understand the topic at the same time. I decided to teach a life skill---how to sew buttons. The class had fun using their fingers and some felt like cats with yarn; loops, tangles, and knots! A few said their hands got tired.
