Nurse Practitioner Speaks to Health Science Students

Dr. Wendy Rash, a Starmount Alumni and Nurse Practitioner, came to speak to the Health Science classes about her winding road through nursing careers and education.  Dr. Rash has over 10 years of education, has worked for two large companies as a flight nurse, pulled her weight in both Intensive care and Emergency medicine and now teaches at a university and works as a Nurse Practitioner in the Interventional Radiology Department at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Health.  She reminded the students that you never stop learning, especially in healthcare, and that you can do anything that you put your mind to!

Thank you, Dr. Rash for sharing your knowledge and expertise with our students!
