SHS Food & Nutrition Students Try New Things

Food and Nutrition 1 students enjoyed a cheese and whole grain cracker bar with non-dairy beverages that broadened their food palate. -Ms. Ferrelli

I was surprised that a number of students had never eaten sweet potatoes. So, I baked some and set-up a mini toppings bar. NC is the #1 grower of sweet potatoes which are very nutritious and delicious! I love it when the palette broadens! – Ms. Ferrelli
