Members of the West Yadkin Fire Department came and spoke to Starmount’s Foundations of Health Sciences class about opportunities available in our community. They explained what the difference in an EMT and a Paramedic are and they talked through a few rescue situations they have personally been faced with. The kids enjoyed their time, instruction and being able to climb onto the truck. Thank you again to Chris Messick, Chief- FO2/EMT-B, Link King Dep. Chief – FO2/EMT-P, and Jon Armstrong Captain – FO2/EMT-B for taking time out of your busy day to give back to our community!
