Dream It Do It

Eighth grade students from Starmount Middle School and Forbush Middle School recently toured local businesses and visited the Yadkin Campus of Surry Community College as part of "Dream It Do It," a career awareness initiative organized by the Yadkin Chamber of Commerce and Yadkin County Schools. In addition to visiting SCC, students toured Unifi and Austin Electrical Enclosures to learn more about those businesses and to see the facilities in person. This is a valuable experience for our students, and it took a coordinated effort between our middle school teachers, administrators, and business leaders to make it happen!
