Starmount Ag Department students did a great job building the Pergola for our outdoor wildlife area next to the greenhouse. They also hung bird, squirrel and hummingbird feeders and a birdbath. They also spread mulch to beautify the area.
The funds for these projects were provided by a grant from the NC Youth Outdoor Engagement commission.
The students really put in a lot of effort and gained real life experience and skills that they can apply in the future.
